E-2 Treaty Investor Visa
Visa for investors from treaty countries.
Detailed Explanation
The E-2 Treaty Investor Visa allows a national of a country with which the US maintains a treaty of commerce and navigation to be admitted to the US when investing a substantial amount of capital in a US business. The investment must be 'substantial' and the enterprise must be a real, operating commercial entity. The investor must develop and direct the enterprise. Employees of the investor who share the same nationality can also obtain E-2 visas. It is a non-immigrant visa but can be renewed indefinitely.
