Asylum Application

An Asylum Application is a request for protection by foreign nationals who cannot or will not return to their home country due to past persecution or well-founded fear of future persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. Asylum seekers must be physically present in or at the border of the country where they're seeking protection and must apply within one year of arrival (with exceptions for changed circumstances).
